Physician

Seeking a full-time Physician passionate about team collaboration, community-based care, and serving elderly and disabled adults to promote independence.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop and monitor personalized care plans, providing geriatric and medical expertise.
  • Supervise nurse practitioners and clinical staff, offering preventive, episodic, and chronic care, including physical, functional, and mental health assessments.
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, order tests, interpret results, and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Educate members and families on health maintenance and illness management.

    Requirements include a Doctorate in Medicine, MI license, DEA registration, Board Certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with geriatrics certification preferred. Minimum one year of primary care experience with at-risk or elderly populations required.

    Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM, with remote on-call rotations. Benefits include competitive pay, PTO, health plans, retirement, and more. In-person work at Mt. Pleasant or Houghton Lake locations.
