Role: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supporting patient mobility and recovery under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and revise treatment plans to enhance patients’ strength, coordination, and range of motion.
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.
- Document treatment sessions accurately and timely, following departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with team members, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and maintain licensure requirements.
- Ensure safety, infection control, and cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Foster a positive environment, demonstrate excellent communication, and promote customer service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Physical Therapy and valid PTA license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Effective communication, teamwork, customer service focus, and basic computer skills.
