Role: Physical Therapy Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Support licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to diverse patients.
- Implement treatment plans and guide patients through therapeutic exercises.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and restoring functional independence.
- Document patient progress accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and care strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to document accurately and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
