Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, implements specific treatment programs for patients across all age groups following established physical therapy practices and principles.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
Experience
- Required: None.
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or Assistant (PTA).
Certification/Licensure
- Required:
- Current licensure as a PTA with the relevant licensing board, maintained in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within ninety (90) days of hire, and kept active.
