Physical Therapist Assistant
Provide compassionate support in outpatient rehabilitation by implementing treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and restore function.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions as outlined in treatment plans
- Monitor patient response during exercise and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and treatment activities in accordance with clinical standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on exercises, precautions, and home-care guidance
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging clinic environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant licensure/certification (as required)
- Strong patient communication and empathy
- Ability to follow clinical direction and work effectively within a team
- Basic documentation skills aligned with care standards
- Comfort coaching patients through therapeutic exercise
