Physical Therapist – Program

Role Overview:

Provides skilled physical therapy services in an outpatient setting, focusing on developmental and orthopedic pediatric patients. Responsible for evaluating, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy to improve patient outcomes.

Key duties include educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks to assistants and students, and completing documentation aligned with departmental policies. Conducts assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services.

  • Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional outcomes.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other providers, recommending referrals as needed.
  • Delegates interventions appropriately based on skill levels.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of services provided.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT); Master’s degree preferred.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist; no required experience or supervisory background.
