Physical Therapist PRN Inpatient Rehab

Role: Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
  • Implement and adjust treatment activities, providing patient and family education.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions per departmental standards.
  • Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
  • Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and proper communication within the team.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure safe and cost-effective use of materials and equipment, adhering to infection prevention protocols.
  • Apply customer service principles, promoting a positive environment and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Licenses and certifications including Physical Therapist licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent upon hire.
  • Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
