Role: The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are provided across the continuum, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement and adjust treatment activities, providing patient and family education and discharge instructions.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans following departmental protocols.
- Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and process improvement activities.
- Promote positive patient and team interactions, demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, completing required competencies and licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
