Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across the full continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement and adjust treatment activities, providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals as needed.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information per departmental protocols.
- Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and ensure timely workload management.
- Promote positive patient and staff interactions, fostering teamwork and respect.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and licensure maintenance.
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current licensure and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent, are required upon hire.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
