Role: Physical Therapist
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury.
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement treatment activities, educate patients and families, and provide discharge instructions and follow-up care.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational efforts in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication with team members.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment, fostering trust and respect among colleagues and patients.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation to ensure compliance and licensure maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (Masters or Doctoral).
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
