Physical Therapist PRN

Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with injuries or diseases. Services are delivered across the full continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and patient-centered manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


  • Responsibilities: Implement and revise treatment plans, select appropriate activities, educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and serve as a resource for staff and physicians regarding rehabilitation services.
  • Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, set goals, and develop discharge plans aligned with patient and family input.
  • Documentation: Record evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information following departmental guidelines.
  • Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, demonstrate teamwork, and participate in meetings, training, and ongoing education.
  • Customer Service: Deliver respectful, positive interactions using AIDET principles, fostering a supportive environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications: Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors in Physical Therapy; valid PT license; BLS certification; effective communication, customer service orientation, team player, and basic computer skills.
