Role: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity, providing care across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, and patient-centered manner.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies.
- Implement and adjust treatment activities, ensuring progress towards patient goals.
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental protocols.
- Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
- Participate in staff meetings, ongoing education, and process improvement activities.
- Foster teamwork, promote positive patient experiences, and demonstrate exceptional customer service using AIDET principles.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (Master’s or Doctoral degree).
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
