Role Overview: A part-time Physical Therapist provides comprehensive rehabilitative care to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs.
Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans.
Educate patients and families on therapy exercises and post-discharge care.
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions accurately.
Act as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and uphold ethical practices.
Promote excellent customer service using principles like AIDET.
Participate in professional development, training, and mandatory education activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Valid Physical Therapist license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork skills, and basic computer proficiency.
