Physical Therapist – Part Time

Position Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients, under general supervision of Therapy Leadership.

Responsibilities include

  • direct supervision of patients
  • indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians
  • general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts
  • . The role requires adherence to departmental policies, standards of treatment, and organizational values.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Education: Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
    • Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in practice state
    • Certifications: BLS certification required, must be current
    • Preferred experience: 6 months to 1 year, especially with adult and geriatric patients

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
    • Prolonged standing and walking
    • Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
