Position Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients, under general supervision of Therapy Leadership.

Responsibilities include

direct supervision of patients

indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians

general supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts

. The role requires adherence to departmental policies, standards of treatment, and organizational values.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s, Master of Science, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
Licensure: Current or temporary Physical Therapy license in practice state
Certifications: BLS certification required, must be current
Preferred experience: 6 months to 1 year, especially with adult and geriatric patients

Physical Requirements

Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs
Prolonged standing and walking
Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
