Role Overview: A Physical Therapist provides outpatient physical therapy services, including evaluation and treatment for patients with various impairments affecting their function or causing pain. The position offers 1:1 patient care and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative rehab team in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs, functional status, and necessary equipment.
- Educates and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers; makes referrals to specialists when needed.
- Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on their skill levels.
- Completes thorough documentation in line with departmental policies.
- Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required); Master’s Degree preferred.
- Valid Physical Therapist License.
- No prior experience required; supervision experience not mandatory.
