Role Overview:
Provides outpatient physical therapy services focused on hand treatment in a multidisciplinary setting. Responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams and families. Delegates tasks to assistants and maintains accurate documentation in accordance with policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and adjusting treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.
- Educating patients and coordinating with other healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
- Delegating interventions to qualified staff based on skill level.
- Conducting assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; Master’s preferred.
- Valid Physical Therapist license.
- No prior experience required; supervisory experience not necessary.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.
