Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with experience in hand therapy to provide outpatient care in a multidisciplinary setting. The role involves evaluating and treating patients with physical impairments affecting function and pain, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Delegating tasks to assistants and documenting care according to policies are essential duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and implementing treatment plans tailored to patient needs and discharge goals
- Educating and consulting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Delegating interventions appropriately based on skill levels
- Performing assessments, re-evaluations, and consultations
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)
- Current Physical Therapist License
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in PT
- No prior experience required, but licensure is essential
Skills and Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, collaboration, communication skills, and ability to work independently in outpatient settings.
