Role Overview:
Provides outpatient physical therapy services in a 1:1 setting, evaluating and treating patients with various physical impairments affecting function and causing pain. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams, making referrals when necessary. Delegates tasks to assistants and technicians, ensuring proper competency and documentation according to departmental policies. Offers assessments, reassessments, and consultations to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
– Valid Physical Therapist License
– Preferred: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
– No prior experience required
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Ability to develop and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
