Role Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist specializing in hand therapy to join a multidisciplinary outpatient team. The ideal candidate will provide skilled evaluation and treatment for patients with various physical impairments affecting function or causing pain. Responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare providers, delegating tasks to assistants, and documenting care accurately.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapist License are required; a Master’s Degree is preferred. No prior experience is necessary, but relevant licensure is essential.
Skills and Duties: Establish treatment goals considering discharge needs and functional status, make appropriate referrals, and assess patient progress through ongoing evaluations. Effective communication and delegation are key to success.
