Role Overview:
Provides skilled physical therapy services to outpatient and inpatient populations, focusing on orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurologic patients. Responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members. Delegates tasks to assistants and students, ensuring appropriate interventions and thorough documentation. Conducts assessments, reassessments, and consultations to support patient recovery and functional improvement.
- Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.
- Educates and consults with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
- Delegates interventions based on skill levels and competencies.
- Maintains accurate documentation aligned with departmental policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT); Master’s preferred.
- Current Physical Therapist License.
- No prior experience required, but a strong understanding of therapy practices is essential.
