Role Overview:
A licensed Physical Therapist provides skilled evaluation and treatment services for inpatient and outpatient populations, including both new graduates and experienced professionals. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare teams, delegating tasks to assistants, and maintaining documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
- Establishes discharge plans considering patient needs and functional status
- Communicates and consults with patients, families, and healthcare providers, recommending referrals as needed
- Delegates interventions to assistants, techs, and students based on competency
- Completes accurate documentation of therapy services
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s preferred)
- Physical Therapist License
- Experience is not required; new grads are welcome
