Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, following treatment plans and policies. Ensures effective, timely treatments, and maintains accurate documentation of patient progress and care activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow ethical standards per the American Physical Therapy Association and state regulations.
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans and communicate effectively with therapists.
  • Document patient care, progress notes, and billing accurately.
  • Support clinical education of Physical Therapist Assistant students.
  • Perform administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and paperwork management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the practice state.
  • Excellent communication, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and less than one year of related experience.
