Physical Therapist Assistant provides compassionate home and community-based rehabilitation services. Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercise, and deliver mobility training to help seniors and individuals with disabilities improve safety, function, and independence in their homes.
Key Duties
- Carry out PT-directed treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs
- Support mobility and functional training to reduce fall risk
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and care strategies
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to support outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Physical Therapist Assistant licensure/registration as required
- Strong patient care, empathy, and communication skills
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work under clinical supervision
- Comfort supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Attention to documentation and teamwork
