Physical Therapist

Role Overview: Provides physical therapy treatment across diverse age groups, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities: Assess patients, develop therapeutic programs, and adjust interventions based on ongoing evaluations. Effectively communicate with team members, patients, and families. Participate in discharge planning, promote evidence-based practices, and support student training and staff mentorship. Maintain departmental policies, contribute to quality improvement, and foster positive team relationships. Handle cultural diversity, seek professional feedback, and engage in continuous learning.

Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and licensure as a Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within 90 days of start. No prior experience necessary.

Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, cultural competence, adaptability, and team collaboration skills. Ability to evaluate patient needs, develop treatment strategies, and document effectively. Willingness to mentor, participate in professional development, and uphold safety and quality standards.
