Role: The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and administers therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, ensuring ethical standards and contributing to program development and quality improvement.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and interventions.
- Supervising positions such as Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aids.
- Participating in program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a flexible interdisciplinary team.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements:
- Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations, including lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Sufficient strength, mobility, and stamina for physical activities and patient support.
- Visual acuity with corrective wear and clear hearing with assistance.
- Exposure to infectious diseases and handling emergency situations may be required.
- May involve irregular hours and use of protective equipment.
