Role Overview:
Seeking a Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered physical therapy in a supportive rehab unit with a 1:1 care environment in a hybrid acute/inpatient setting. Collaborate with a renowned medical team to evaluate and treat adult patients with diverse needs, including speech, language, voice, dysphagia, and cognition. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, educating patients and families, delegating tasks, and documenting care in accordance with departmental policies. Conduct assessments, reassessments, and consultations to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT); Master’s preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- No prior experience required, supervision experience not necessary
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Duties:
- Establish and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Delegate interventions to assistants, techs, and students based on competency
- Complete accurate documentation and provide assessments and consultations
