Role & Responsibilities: This position involves planning and executing tailored physical therapy programs across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Supervision extends to Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers. Key duties include assessing patient needs, implementing treatment plans, and assisting with patient care.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform physical duties, including lifting loads of up to 50 pounds, frequent mobility, and physical activities. They should be able to adapt with reasonable accommodations if disabilities impact essential functions. Strong physical stamina, mobility, and the capacity to handle emergency situations are essential.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements: Ability to see with corrective aids and hear clearly with assistance. Candidates must be capable of performing activities like sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting. May be exposed to infectious diseases, chemicals, and require wearing protective equipment. Activities may involve irregular hours and physical activities of varying intensity.
