Role & Responsibilities:
Designs and executes tailored physical therapy programs for patients across all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, adhering to established practices. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Supervises positions such as Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers. Responsible for managing patient care, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires the ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodations, including lifting loads up to 50 pounds, frequent movement, and assisting patients. Must handle emergency situations and wear protective equipment when necessary. Strong physical stamina, mobility, and strength are essential. Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols is required.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements:
Must have corrected vision and clear hearing to perform job functions. Capable of continuous walking, standing, and frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, and climbing. Activities involve sitting, standing, and physical activities of moderate difficulty, with occasional exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, or toxins. Flexibility to work irregular hours and handle emergency scenarios.
