Job Summary
Performs phlebotomy tasks in a physician office setting, ensuring accurate blood collection and handling.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience: Knowledge of medical laboratory practices, procedures, medical terminology, lab manuals, formularies, ICD-9 codes, and lab reference procedures.
- Certification/Licensure: Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, to be obtained within 90 days of start date. Preferred: ASCP Board of Registry or equivalent.
