Role: Responsible for providing accurate and efficient assistance to licensed pharmacists by preparing medications, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service in a pharmacy setting.
Key Duties:
- Stock and inventory medications, notify managers of supply needs.
- Receive prescriptions and refills, accurately count, pour, label, and package medications.
- Maintain customer profiles, process insurance claims, and operate cash register functions.
- Ensure a clean, well-stocked pharmacy area, follow all legal and HIPAA policies.
- Assist with delegated tasks, including patient interactions and administrative duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service or pharmacy-related work preferred.
- State registration or certification required.
- Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
- Detail-oriented with suggestive selling knowledge.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical activities typical of retail environments.
