Summary of Role and Responsibilities
This position involves independently reviewing and assessing medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related issues. The pharmacist collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care, manages drug therapy protocols within a team, compounds and dispenses medications, and provides drug-related information. Supervising pharmacy support staff and ensuring safe medication practices are key duties.
