- Obtain and verify prescription information from licensed veterinarians or agents.
- Process medication orders via calls and faxes, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Dispense medications according to prescriptions, prepare products, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
- Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers and end-users regarding medication use.
- Maintain detailed records of dispensed drugs and prescriptions, and prepare necessary reports.
- Support pharmacy operations including inventory replenishment, order entry, and order resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and licensing requirements.
- Provide backup support for other pharmacy locations as needed.
Qualifications: Requires a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college, a current unrestricted pharmacist license, and active licensure in the resident state. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
