We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to support patient care delivery through reception, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment processing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors and patients, providing excellent customer service
- Entering and updating patient demographic and financial information for registration
- Obtaining necessary forms, verifying signatures, and managing documents
- Communicating financial responsibilities, collecting payments, and balancing cash
- Collaborating with departments to ensure seamless patient encounters
- Providing directions and hospital information, coordinating admission and bed assignments
- Maintaining audit accuracy, working worklists, and resolving errors proactively
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in an office setting
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to work on a Per Diem basis, including holidays and weekends
- Must be 18 or older
Preferred skills:
- Experience in medical office or hospital registration
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical terminology
