Role: Per Diem Orthopedic Home Physical Therapist
Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, focusing on mobility, strength, and function in their homes. Educate patients on safe transfers, ambulation, and community reintegration. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, document patient data, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team. Perform functional training, prescribe therapeutic activities, and ensure compliance with protocols. Manage billing and documentation using EMR software.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred), licensed in the practicing state, CPR certification, strong orthopedic experience, excellent communication, clinical decision-making, computer skills, and ability to work independently and within a team. Prior EMR experience is a plus.
Key Duties: Conduct evaluations, create care plans, provide patient education, perform therapeutic interventions, and document treatments. Collaborate with team members and support patient recovery goals effectively.
