Position: RN – Medical Pulmonary Unit
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Level: Per Diem Level 1 (minimum 48 hours every 6 weeks, including weekend hours)
Shift: Night shift, 7:00pm – 7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Provides comprehensive patient assessment and collects health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinates patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
- Communicates effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with patients and team members.
- Personalizes patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet individual learning needs.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
