Role Overview: The House Supervisor is responsible for administrative supervision of patient care and hospital departments, serving as the on-site leader during off-shifts. They
manage staffing, patient placement, and complaint resolution, ensuring safe, high-quality care across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage personnel, including hiring, training, evaluating, and professional development.
- Supervise patient care delivery, responding effectively to special circumstances.
- Coordinate departmental operations and service integration.
- Support clinical staff development by observing, coaching, and monitoring compliance with regulations.
- Act as a liaison between administration and departments, handling clinical issues and complaints.
- Participate in staffing, revenue, and expense budget planning, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree.
- 2-5 years of supervisor experience.
- Current RN licensure.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience.
Additional Requirements: Leadership experience in charge nurse roles, strong communication skills, and ability to manage complex clinical situations.
