Role: Pediatric Registered Nurse providing compassionate, family-centered care to children in home and school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop/implement individualized care.
- Administer medications and treatments per clinical standards.
- Provide and monitor care for tracheostomies, ventilators, and feeding tubes as appropriate.
- Document care accurately according to clinical and regulatory requirements.
- Educate and support families to promote safety, comfort, and development.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and school staff to coordinate care.
- Advocate for each child’s well-being and ensure a safe, supportive environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse licensure with pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, medication/treatment administration, and documentation skills.
- Competence and comfort managing complex respiratory and feeding needs.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and family education abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and school partners.
