Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonographer – Full-time, Rotating Shift

Role Overview:
The Cardiovascular Sonographer assists with non-invasive cardiac and vascular studies, including M-Mode, 2-D, Doppler echo, and peripheral vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and analyze cardiac and vascular imaging procedures for diverse patient populations, including pediatric and neonatal cases.

Obtain accurate data, interpret results, and anticipate patient needs, ensuring quality and safety.

Conduct specialized tests such as tilt table exams, treadmill tests, holters, and pharmacological studies.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular techniques and mentor new staff.

Document findings thoroughly and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
– Minimum of two years’ experience as a cardiac, vascular, or pediatric sonographer, or completion of certified courses in these areas.
– Required certifications include RDCS, RVT, PE, and BLS; fetal echocardiography certification preferred.
– Proficiency in performing various imaging procedures and understanding patient-specific needs.
– Commitment to ongoing education and safety standards.
