Patient Care Technician

Role Overview


The position involves providing direct patient care, supporting clinical procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring a safe environment, and participating in team-based care initiatives. Responsibilities include assisting with admissions, discharges, hygiene, feeding, mobility, vital signs, specimen collection, and newborn screenings. Support for procedures such as EKGs, fetal monitoring, phlebotomy, and post-operative care is also required. The role emphasizes adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and contributing to a patient-first culture.


Qualifications & Skills


Candidates must hold a CNA certification or be enrolled in nursing school with completed clinical rotations. Current CPR/BLS certifications are required. Applicants should score 90% or higher on mandatory safety quizzes and demonstrate soft skills like flexibility, organization, multitasking, critical thinking, and composure under stress.
