Role Overview
This position involves providing patient care support in a healthcare setting, assisting with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and mobility based on the care plan. It includes performing hourly rounds in collaboration with clinical staff, documenting patient data, and supporting patient ambulation and positioning to promote well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with hygiene and nutrition
- Perform hourly patient rounds with RN collaboration
- Document patient care data accurately
- Support patient mobility and positioning
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA program or nursing clinical rotation (verification required)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
