Role Overview: Responsible for supporting patient care in various inpatient units, including Med Surg, Float Pool, PCU, and ICU, by assisting with delegated tasks under the supervision of registered nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Support nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be 18 years or older; high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to multi-task under stressful conditions and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Keyboard experience preferred.
- Successful completion of BLS certification prior to providing patient care.
Additional Details:
- Nonexempt position with hourly pay between $20.98 and $29.19.
- Part-time schedule with varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and occasional 12-hour shifts.
- Every other or third weekend work and 2-3 holidays per year.
