Travel CT Tech
Role: Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, and ensure imaging protocols are followed. Collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety standards. Document procedures accurately and work effectively with healthcare teams to provide timely diagnostic services. Adapt to various CT equipment and protocols, while maintaining compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
- Preparing and positioning patients appropriately
- Setting technical parameters for accurate images
- Ensuring safety and radiation protocols are followed
- Performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Recording patient and procedural data precisely
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals for diagnosis
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum one year recent CT technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
- Preferred ARRT certification
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
