Travel CT Tech
Role: Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images. Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. Adapt to different equipment and protocols, providing compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
- Prepare, explain procedures, and position patients
- Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Provide images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain safety standards and equipment functionality
- Document procedures and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Perform routine equipment troubleshooting
Qualifications & Skills:
- One year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills
