Role: RN, Cardiac Imaging
Responsibilities:
- Perform stress testing and conduct patient assessments, collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Develop and communicate individualized care plans, evaluate patient progress, and document health data, interventions, and communications.
- Assist technical staff with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy, and IV management.
- Provide patient and family education tailored to learning needs.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, nursing research, and stay current with trends in cardiac diagnostic testing through ongoing education.
- Support evidence-based care, contribute to peer and student development, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Transport acutely ill patients as needed and support team efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Experience in Cardiac Imaging, with prior stress testing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
