Role Overview:
This position is for a licensed pharmacy technician responsible for supporting pharmacy operations under the supervision of a staff pharmacist. Key duties include performing clerical tasks such as sending/receiving tubes and faxes, filing prescriptions, processing mail, and managing inventory. The technician will enter customer, insurance, and prescription data into the pharmacy system, sell prescriptions using POS systems, handle cash transactions, and reconcile payments. Additionally, they will manage drug and non-drug inventory, perform cycle counts, and assist with prescription workflow steps, including manual and automated dispensing and basic compounding.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- State Board Pharmacy Registration
- No prior experience required
