Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient setting, adhering to established standards of nursing practice. Responsibilities include assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, as well as educating patients and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Duties:
- Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
- Perform assessments within scope of practice and unit standards.
- Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Develop and coordinate care plans, including discharge planning and education.
- Evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members, delegate tasks based on skill and patient needs.
- Problem-solve equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Contribute to quality and safety programs and unit decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Nursing Specialty Training Program, with a strong interest in Cardiac Nursing Care preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to a dynamic environment, and demonstrate professionalism. Cardiac experience is desirable but not required, as growth opportunities are offered.
