Summary of Role:
The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures for adult and pediatric patients, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and mobile radiography, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment, providing clear instructions with professionalism and high customer service standards.
- Conduct radiographic examinations independently, including on-call and portable procedures, adhering to departmental protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency; certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Licenses including IEMA (excluding MRI) and registration as a radiology technologist.
- Preferred experience in general radiology; experience in vascular, neurovascular, or special procedures is a plus.
