Role Overview:
A Radiology Technologist performs general imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients to assist in diagnosis and treatment, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, informing patients about procedures, and independently conducting radiographic imaging, including portable exams and on-call tasks.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R))
- Illinois IEMA license (excluding MRI); radiology technologist registration
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification
