Role: Physical Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Services are delivered across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and physicians.
- Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources.
- Conduct patient assessments, establish goals, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental standards.
- Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and ensure punctuality.
- Engage in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
- Promote excellent customer service using AIDET principles and foster teamwork and respect among staff and patients.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
