Part-Time LPN Medication Nurse

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Medication Nurse
Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments following physician orders, ensuring accuracy and safety through adherence to the Six Rights of Medication Administration. Document all activities in MAR/TAR in real-time, monitor residents for symptoms or adverse reactions, and report any concerns promptly. Conduct Service & Health Updates (SHUs), transcribe physician orders, support care plan updates, and observe changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or cognitive states. Maintain medication carts, perform narcotic counts, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Play a vital role in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision.
Qualifications & Skills: Active LPN license in good standing, CPR and First Aid certification, strong assessment and documentation skills. Experience in senior care or medication administration is preferred.
Key Duties: Providing safe, accurate medication administration, supporting comprehensive resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance to promote residents’ health and well-being.
